Matthew Healy's funeral mass will take place today.

Gardaí are warning of a scam website which claims to be a link to a live stream of the funeral of 6-year-old Matthew Healy.

The post includes a link that directs users to a webpage asking for personal details.

His funeral mass is to be held today at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Watergrasshill.

“The posts include a link which users are prompted to click on in order to watch the mass, and are then redirected to a webpage that captures their personal information," gardaí warned.

“Please do not engage with these posts.

“Anyone who wishes to watch a funeral mass via live stream are asked to please revert to the Parish or Diocese directly.”

Matthew was found in a car near a seaside cove in the Rathmoylan area in the early hours of Friday.

On Tuesday, a woman appeared in court charged with the murder of her six-year-old son.

Ruth Purcell Healy, 37, of Bishop’s Field, Williamstown Road, Waterford, appeared at Waterford District Court on Tuesday evening.

She was charged with the murder of Matthew Healy in Rathmoylan, Co Waterford, on February 8th or 9th.
