Emergency services are at the scene of a collision on the N40.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland says the collision, between Junction 10 Mahon and Junction 09 Bloomfield (westbound), is impacting two lanes of the road.

"Emergency Services are at the scene of a road traffic incident on the N40 Westbound, near the Mahon Interchange, which causing queues back through the Dunkettle Interchange," it said in an update.

Meanwhile, drivers are advised that a low-temperature warning remains in place in Cork.
The status yellow warning is set to remain in place until Friday with Met Éireann saying it will stay very cold with severe frost and icy stretches which may lead to difficult travelling conditions.
