Cork's Adam King launches 'A Hug for You' Christmas cards

Adam King with his new A Hug For You Christmas cards, which are luanching exclusively in ALDI on November 16th.

THE much loved ‘A Hug for You’ Christmas cards, inspired by Cork’s Adam King, will launch exclusively in Aldi stores nationwide from Thursday.

The collection of cards will be available in four adorable styles, each inspired by Adam’s original designs.

The seven-year-old from Cork, who was born with a rare brittle bone condition called Osteogenesis Imperfect, appeared on the Late Late Toy Show in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, winning hearts across the nation by sharing a ‘virtual hug’.

Aldi has confirmed that a donation of 20c from each card sold will be gifted to the Irish Wheelchair Association.

The money raised through the sale of the Christmas cards will assist them in carrying out their life changing work.

Speaking about the launch of his cards Adam King said: “I am so excited. I hope they make people very happy this Christmas time!”

The cards are available from November 16, while stocks last.
