THE Farran Wood Christmas Market, which was hugely popular last year, is set to return this December with organisers confirming the dates for the eagerly anticipated event.

Perked Up Coffee, a coffee truck operating in the area, revealed on Instagram that the market will run on Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10 from 10am to 4pm on both days.

Some 15 craft stalls will be selling locally made goods that will make perfect Christmas gifts, while four food and drinks stalls, including the popular coffee truck, will keep everybody fed and warm.

The festive market will also feature children’s entertainment, music, fundraisers and a treasure hunt, with attendees encouraged to make the most of the location and take a walk in the forest before browsing the stalls and warming up with a hot chocolate.

The market was held for the first time last year with Aoife, owner of Perked Up Coffee, saying at the time: “It was emotional and a first for many of us, bigger and better next year for sure!”
