Cork hotel launches recruitment drive to fill 40 positions ahead of jazz festival

The Metropole Hotel in Cork has launched a recruitment drive to fill 40 positions ahead of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. 

It will hold two recruitment open days on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 7pm at the Metropole Hotel.

The hotel, which is home to the Jazz Festival Club, is hiring experienced bar staff, floor staff, cloakroom staff and cleaning attendants. 

People are asked to bring along their CVs and references to the open days.

Roger Russell, General Manager of the Metropole Hotel said: “The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is one of the highlights of the year for the Metropole Hotel and we are exceptionally busy across the entire weekend.

"We are looking for people to join our dedicated team members for this exciting weekend and beyond into the Christmas period.” 

The hotel’s weekend programme runs from Friday, October 27 to Monday, October 30 and includes a range of Irish and international acts. 

The Metropole Hotel Cork is part of the Trigon Hotels.
