Rail passengers in Cork experiencing delays due to signaling issue

Passengers travelling on Cork trains this morning may experience some delays.

Irish rail has said that due to a signalling issue, passengers in the Cork area will experience delays.

They added that their engineers were on site investigating the issue.

Posting on Twitter just before 9am, Irish Rail said: "The issue has been rectified. Services in the Cork area are subject to delays of approximately 20 minutes. Apologies for the inconvenience."
