Fire services called to commercial building in Cork city

Smoke was spotted rising from a commercial premises in the Marina area

THREE units of Cork City Fire Service have responded to a report of smoke from a commercial building in Cork city.

A call was received at around 6.30pm after the smoke was spotted coming from a building in the Marina area.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said the smoke was from a boiler.

Members of the fire service were only at the scene for a short time, she said.
