Person cut off by rising floodwaters rescued in Cork

Mallow Search and Rescue were called into action yesterday after it emerged a person needed help after being cut off by rising floodwaters.

Mallow Fire Service assisted and Mallow Search and Rescue launched a rescue boat.

The person was successfully rescued.
