Charity Fashion Show for Midleton's Tilara
Tilara Costa-Holmes

A CHARITY Fashion Show takes place in Midleton next week to raise funds for five-year-old Tilara Costa-Holmes who requires an operation in the US.

Tilara has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, a neurological condition that permanently affects muscle control and coordination.

Her movement is severely restricted, so walking, sitting unaided, crawling, and rolling are impossible.

She has been accepted by the US hospital to undergo a complex spinal surgical procedure but her family needs to raise €140,000 to cover the operation and post-operative rehabilitation.

Next Thursday, April 13 at 7.30pm a charity fashion show will be held in the Midleton Park Hotel.

The night includes a wine reception, goodie bags and a Best Dressed Lady competition. Models on the night include hurlers Conor Lehane and Mark Elis, Miss Cork Tara O'Leary and Olympian Marian Heffernan Olympian.

Tickets cost €15 and are on sale in JJ Coppingers Bar in Midleton.
