EXTRA trains and free parking has been organised for the Ed Sheeran concerts being held on May 4,5 and 6.

Trains to Cobh, Mallow and Midleton are being run by Irish Rail, at 11.30pm 11.35pm and 11.40pm respectively.

Bus Eireann will be operating a shuttle bus from the train station to the venue, Pairc Ui Chaoimh operating from 3pm to 8pm every 20 minutes.

As well as this there will be free parking at Midleton, Carrigtwohill, Glounthaune and Little Island train station.

Concertgoers are once again being warned that there will be no vehicular access near the stadium.

A cordon will prevent access to Centre Park Road, The Marina, Maryville estate and Monahan Road, with the exception of a one-way system for residents and local businesses.

This is to facilitate businesses and sporting clubs in the area for access over the days but advises that delays are likely between 4pm and 8pm and 11pm and midnight daily.

Another shuttle bus will be in operation from Lapps Quay from 3pm to 8pm every five minutes to the stadium for all three days.

As well as this, the 202 Bus to Mahon will be operating throughout each day of the concert with additional services provided after each concert to bring people back to the city centre.

The public is also reminded the first concert coincides with the Friday evening rush hour on the bank holiday weekend.

Irish Rail tickets can be purchased online at www.irishrail.com and downloaded at any Irish rail ticket vending machine.
