Shell trawled up in Kinsale made safe
A photo of the "device" that was trawled up by the fishing boat which was fishing near the Daunt Rock, between Kinsale and Cork Harbour.

THE Army bomb squad was called in last night to make safe a World War II shell in Kinsale.

The shell was brought ashore in Kinsale by a fishing vessel yesterday.

Gardaí cordoned off the pier the device was dealt with and the area has since been reopened
