Cobh named one of the 25 most beautiful small towns in Europe
The Conde Nast magazine listed Cobh in its 25 most beautiful small towns in Europe.

The town of Cobh has been hailed as one of the 25 most beautiful small towns in Europe by the prestigious travel publisher Conde Nast.

In an article written by travel writer Caitlin Morton, praise is heaped upon the charm of Cobh, shining a spotlight on “its rows of candy-coloured homes along the water and towering cathedral standing sentry over the harbour”.

Welcoming the favourable review, Chairman of Cobh Tourism Jack Walsh said “We are always championing Cobh as a visitor destination, so to see our beautiful small town featured in a prestigious publication like Condé Nast Traveler Magazine is a fantastic endorsement.

"Condé Nast is globally recognised as one of the most discerning, up-to-the-minute voices in all things travel and its recommendations are known to be very influential.”

The travel review also references the growing popularity of Cobh as a port of call for Cruise liners and highlights the historical Titanic connection for which the town is famed.
