Body found in missing person search

The body of a man was recovered from the river last night in an ongoing missing person search.

A post mortem is taking place today at Cork University Hospital and identification of the body is also in process.

36-year-old Andrew Willis who has been missing from his home in Coolmore, Carrigaline since Thursday, 20 June.

A team of 50 people were searching yesterday for Mr Willis while searches have also been ongoing for a separate missing man Patsy O’Keeffe.

Mr O’Keeffe, who was living in Carrigaline and has been missing since Friday, June 21.
