Man arrested in Blackpool overnight in connection with burglary

Gardaí arrested a man in his late 30’s last night in connection with a burglary on Redemption Road.

The burglary occurred shortly after 9.30pm at a house in Laffan Court and was reported to Gardaí.

Gardaí along with the Regional Support Unit searched the surrounding area and a man in his late 30’s was arrested in the Blackpool area around midnight.

He was brought to Mayfield Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
