Coronavirus latest: Cork paramedics to begin testing for COVID-19

Paramedics are to expand their response to the coronavirus outbreak by providing in home testing for COVID-19 where necessary.
Last night, the National Public Health Emergency Team announced that the HSE was moving to a community testing model for assessment and investigation of suspect cases.
As of Monday, March 2, 397 people have been tested for Covid-19 in Ireland.
Two cases have been confirmed in the east of the country. The latest, confirmed last night, involves a female who had travelled to Northern Italy.
The National Ambulance Service said it was "delighted" to be in a position to further expand its response to COVID-19 by providing home testing where necessary in conjunction with their colleagues in public health and community services.
