The Metropole Hotel in Cork are looking for photos of the vibrant and beautiful Cork city and county as they launch their photo competition.

Each week a photo will be chosen to be featured on the hotel’s social media channels and will move on to the next stage of the competition.

One of the photos will be named the overall winner, and the photographer will receive the grand prize of a one night stay at The Metropole Hotel Cork and dinner for two at The MET Cork.

The photos will be judged by Cork photographer Brian Lougheed along with Jonathan Healy, broadcaster and Managing Partner of Healy Communications.

Ria Greaves, Deputy General Manager of the Metropole Hotel said: “We know that Cork is a vibrant, beautiful county, and if you are a budding photographer, and you have captured Cork through your lens, we want you to share your best picture with us.”

The competition is only open to amateur photographers over the age of 18, and the photo must be Cork related.

In order to enter people are being asked to submit their photos online on: http://www.themetropolehotel.ie/metropole-cork-photography-competition/

The competition is open now and will run throughout May.
