A MAN has been killed in a quad bike accident in West Cork. Stock image 

A MAN has been killed in a quad bike accident in West Cork.

The accident occurred in Coomanore, in the Bantry area, around 10am.

The man, who was in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation.
