Fontaines DC cancel Live at the Marquee gig

Fontaines DC have announced the cancellation of their Live at the Marquee gig this summer.

The band were due to take to the stage at the tented venue on May 28, the first of multiple gigs over the months of May and June.

The concert has yet to be rescheduled and the band said that they “hope to come back to Cork and Belfast in the near future”.

In a statement, the band said: We are sorry to announce that our shows in Cork and Belfast this May have sadly been cancelled due to Covid-19. We were really looking forward to them and hope to come back to Cork and Belfast in the near future. Tickets can be refunded at point of sale. Keep safe, see you soon.” 

Promoters of Live at the Marquee, Aiken Promotions, announced the return of Live at the Marquee to its home on The Docklands in 2021 late last month.

Aiken Promotions continues to reschedule gigs that were due to take place this summer to summer 2021.
