Garryvoe Hotel in East Cork confirmed their precautionary closure on Facebook in a post that outlined their intention to reopen in the near future as soon as was safe.

An East Cork hotel has temporarily closed due to a confirmed case of Covid-19 among the staff.

Garryvoe Hotel in East Cork confirmed their precautionary closure on Facebook in a post that outlined their intention to reopen in the near future as soon as was safe.

In the social media post, the Garryvoe Hotel team said it was unfortunate that a member of their team has tested positive for Covid-19 ams said as a precautionary measure and in the interest of the safety of staff and guests, they have taken the decision to close the hotel from Friday October 9 for a period of time.

“We are a team here in Garryvoe and we have always looked after and supported each other in every way we can, we have stuck together and we will now. We will be back up and running very soon so don’t worry we will all be together sooner rather than later.” Management thanked guests for their support and understanding.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused and we look forward to welcoming you back to East Cork and the Garryvoe Hotel very soon.”
