Gavin James announces drive-in concert series with Cork date

The Dublin native took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce the new live music initiative, commencing in July.

"I’ve been sitting on this news for weeks... but I’m delighted to announce I’m doing a Drive-In tour," the 'Always' hitmaker wrote.

The Cork show will take place in the Showgrounds on Friday, July 31, with tickets on sale this Friday at 9am.

Dates for performances in Limerick, Kilkenny and Waterford have also been announced this morning.

With traditional summer gigs axed as a result of the Covid-19 emergency, 'Live at The Drive In' is a unique concert series launched by MPI and 360 Events.

The concert series will provide fans with the opportunity to see their favourite artists live safely and within the government guidelines to communities all across our country.

Artists will perform live from the stage with attendees watching from the comfort of their cars.
