Chloe Cotter, from Mitchelstown, and Colin English, from Clogheen in Tipperary, were first introduced in a little village pub in Burncourt back in 2011 through a mutual friend.

While Chloe admits there was an “instant spark”, it wasn’t until a meeting at Araglen Carnival that they officially became an item.

“We got engaged in 2024 at home where, after 15 years of asking me to marry him and me protesting not without a ring, he blindsided me with an actual engagement ring.

Chloe and Colin said their ceremony at the Talbot Hotel in Ballincollig was “so intimate and they really made us feel special.”

“In the shock of it all I almost forgot to say yes... but it was clearly never going to be no. The perfect memory to have in our forever home,” said Chloe.

Today, they live in Clogheen in Tipperary.

“We could not be happier with our lovely home that we have settled in together and made our own,” Chloe said.
