TV sport round-up: Cork face Galway in bid for 31st All-Ireland

Cork will be hoping it is a case of third time lucky when they play Galway in the final of the All-Ireland Camogie Championship on Sunday.

The Rebels have faced the Tribes at this stage in the past two seasons, winning the first final and agonisingly losing the second last year by a point.

A victory on Sunday would rack up a record 31st camogie title for Cork. The match is live on RTÉ2 at 4.15pm.

Earlier, the channel shows the Junior camogie final between Armagh and Cavan at noon, and the Intermediate final between Antrim and Laois at 2pm.

Highlights of the finals are shown on The Sunday Games on RTÉ2 at 9.30pm.

There is live coverage of the Gallagher Dublin Horse Show 2026 from the RDS on RTÉ2 on Saturday at 6pm, and on Sunday at 2.40pm.

The sporting action then continues next week with two great events covered by RTÉ2.

The European Swimming Championships 2026 are taking place in Paris, with coverage each weekday at 8.25am and 5.15pm.

The European Athletics Championships 2026 are taking place at the same time, in Birmingham, and you can see the action daily at 10.30am and 7.30pm.

Cork trio Derval O’Rourke, Rob Heffernan and Sonia O’Sullivan are among the pundits for that, while Cork quartet Nicola Tuthill, Sophie O’Sullivan, Darragh McElhinney and Ryan Creech are all in the Irish team. Sophie is the daughter of Cobh great Sonia.

Finally, the marathon World Cup may have only finished a few weeks ago, but soccer is already stirring into life for a new season.

The Scottish Premier League kicked off last weekend, and in the second round of fixturess, Celtic travel to Kilmarnock on Sunday, and it’s live on Sky at 1.30pm. Rangers v Hibernian is on Premier Sports later that day, at 4pm.

And the annual European curtain-raiser, the UEFA Super Cup, takes place between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa on Wednesday, live on RTÉ2 at 8pm.
