4 Cork city homes for sale, on No.202 bus route

JUST minutes from the city centre, and with a wonderful community spirit, the Knocknaheeny and Hollyhill area is an ideal place to call home.

The locality has a supermarket, dentist, schools, pharmacy, library, and a wonderful community centre.

All amenities are pretty much within walking distance, and as it is an older part of the city suburbs, there are plenty of green areas for play and leisure. The number 202 and 202A buses run regularly here.

In my latest look at properties currently for sale in Cork, I visited four in this city area.

1. 6, Meadow Drive, The Meadows, Cork city, €269,950k

This is a gorgeous three-bedroom and three-bathroom home in a quiet area. It has a modern aspect with lovely black railing at the front and room for two cars in the drive.

The area is spotlessly clean and far enough from the hustle and bustle to offer a quiet refuge from city life.

It’s only a four-minute walk from Apple and a stroll to St Mary’s on the Hill primary and creche.

The home is a fine size at 101m2. The modern look of the outside is carried through the interior and the finish is superb. There is nothing that needs attention in the home.

This three-bedroom and two-bathroom property also has a second downstairs living room that could be used as a fourth bedroom.

4. 16 Presentation Road, Gurranabraher, €250,000

This three-bedroom and one-bathroom property is in a very much sought after area. In fact, homes here don’t stay on the estate agents’ books for long!
