Olympian Heffernan supports Trigon Hotels Core Values launch

Trigon Hotels, which includes the Metropole Hotel and the Cork International Hotel, has launched its Core Values, which aim to improve the overall experience for team members and customers.

Five time Olympian and World Champion, Robert Heffernan was the guest of honour at the launch at the Cork International Hotel, where he spoke about the importance of teamwork in elite sports.

The team at Trigon Hotels explored Robert’s journey through the lens of their Core Values:

Collaboration — working as one, collaborating openly across teams, supporting each other, and celebrating successes together while valuing every contribution.

Be respectful — putting people first by creating a place where kindness, respect, and support make everyone feel welcome and ready to grow together.

Go all out (customer) — Prioritise guests by going all out with exceptional service and constantly finding new ways to make their experience unforgettable. Greet every guest with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Make eye contact and smile.

Keep it simple (quality/simplicity) — Innovate, simplify, and constantly improve to deliver top-quality service and stay ahead of the curve.

Own it (accountability) — Take ownership of actions, rise to the challenge, acknowledge mistakes openly, and share learnings widely.
