Dairygold Co-Op Superstores Mallow celebrated their new store last weekend with a full itinerary of activities over the three days.

On Friday, Trina Mara broadcast her Classic Hits show from the Mallow store as the staff and customers enjoyed a great afternoon with her.

Some fans had come to the store especially to see Trina.

On Saturday two of Cork’s hurling heroes, Tim O’Mahony and Darragh Fitzgibbon, were in store.

Following on from Cork’s brilliant Allianz National League final win, they were greeted by eager fans. The pair signed jerseys, hurleys, and took lots of photos ahead of their opening match the Munster championship, against Clare in Ennis this weekend.

On Sunday there was a family fun day and the highlight was a visit from the famous Dulux Dog, who was camera-ready for lots of family photos and some with the staff.

The face painter was also in store and turned kids into their favourite hero, butterfly, or animal while a balloon artist made some amazing unicorns, swords, and animals.

“A huge well done to all the staff at Co-Op Superstores Mallow,” a spokesperson said.

“And thank you to everyone who joined the event.”
