Cork-based PE Global seeks next acquisition

Keith McDonagh, Managing Director of PE Global: Reaching our 20-year milestone is a significant achievement and we are incredibly proud of our journey so far.

PE Global, a leading Irish resourcing and talent solutions company, is marking two decades of success, and is seeking its next acquisition to add to its global portfolio.

Since its establishment in Cork in 2005, PE Global has grown from a small team into one of Ireland’s largest recruitment agencies, operating globally across multiple sectors including life sciences, technology, and healthcare, and has doubled its workforce over the past five years. In 2023, company turnover exceeded €66m with operating profit above €2.8m.

PE Global’s milestones over the years include expanding into international markets, securing key framework agreements with the HSE and NHS, and growing its specialist recruitment divisions across multiple industries.

In late 2024 the company expanded its reach with the acquisition of Quality Assurance Resources Limited (QA Resources) in Ireland and Trust Nurses Services in the UK.

Managing director Keith McDonagh, who has been with the company for much of its journey, emphasises that its people-focused approach, ensuring strong relationships with both clients and candidates, has been at the heart of PE Global’s growth.

Reflecting on the company’s 20-year journey, Mr McDonagh said: “Reaching our 20-year milestone is a significant achievement and we are incredibly proud of our journey so far. At PE Global, we have always been focused on our people, and that has been the key to our success. Many of our team, including myself, have been on this journey together for years, and we take pride in the relationships we’ve built, both internally and with our clients.

“Our strength lies in collaboration and the recent acquisition of QA Resources and Trust Nurses Services is a testament to our team’s dedication and our continued success. 2024 was a strong year for us, and with these acquisitions, we are looking ahead to an even more dynamic 2025.”

In 2024, PE Global also launched its new healthcare division in the UK, PE Global Care Connect, which expanded its business into the provision of individualised complex and comprehensive care services.

This specialised service offers delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals and organisations that have a broad range of healthcare needs.

As part of the BPVA Group, which also includes Brightwater, Vantage, Sabeo, Alternatives, Mentors and Raretec, PE Global continues to look for new opportunities for growth.
