Wonderlights: a dazzling winter attraction at Fota House

Follow Fox Events has announced that the international award-winning Wonderlights, one of Ireland’s largest immersive light show experiences, is now open at Fota House, Arboretum and Gardens for the festive season.

Now in its fifth year, the iconic Wonderlights has expanded to three venues nationwide, Malahide Castle and Gardens in North Dublin, and Marlay Park in South Dublin, along with Fota House.

Each venue will host a unique light show experience, set to dazzle and captivate visitors of all ages. Guests will be immersed in a world of dazzling light and breathtaking displays. Since its inception in 2019, Wonderlights has transformed its host venues into mesmerising landscapes with captivating lighting displays, immersive projections, and interactive features.

These displays are enjoyed by young and old alike along the highly accessible sensory walk.

Each year brings new, innovative themes that tell a magical story through beautiful lights, colours, nature, and specially composed music and sounds.

Wonderlights collaborate closely with each venue to preserve each parkland’s unique essence while also elevating the beauty of the woodland spaces.

Committed to sustainability, Wonderlights’ displays are powered by hydrotreated vegetable oil, widely recognised as one of the most environmentally friendly fuel alternatives, and utilise the most energy-efficient bulbs available.

Follow Fox Events has joined forces with Cork’s Cool Running Events to bring Wonderlights to life at Fota House.

Both teams are leading providers of unique family-friendly experiences and look forward to bringing this new event to the people of Cork this festive season.

Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are priced from €15 and others from €19.50. Under 2’s and carers go free, with special off-peak, student, and OAP rates.
