The Cork International Hotel has also launched a Halloween-themed afternoon tea which will be available from Friday, October 27, to Sunday, November 5.

THE Cork International Hotel has teamed up with Leahy’s Open Farm to launch a special Halloween family package.

The two-night stay includes tickets to the ‘Boo!! Experience’ at the popular East Cork attraction.

The hotel’s team has also compiled a wicked schedule of Halloween-themed activities for the midterm break including daily pumpkin hunts, a monster bash, and spooky arts and crafts.

Depending on the weather, there will be indoor and outdoor games such as ghostly bowling, pumpkin toss, and pumpkin crazy golf.

The package includes two nights in a spacious family room with breakfast each morning and an early bird family dinner on the night of your choice. Guests will also receive a family pass for two adults and two children to Leahy’s Open Farm.

This year the ‘Boo!! Experience’ runs on Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22, and from Friday, October 27, to Tuesday, October 31.

General Manager of the Cork International Hotel, Eoghan Murphy said: “We’re delighted to team up with Leahy’s Open Farm once again. Like us, they love to celebrate the big festivities and the changing seasons. This Halloween they will be running trips on a haunted hay ride through the woods, you can visit the witch’s lair and of course, experience their incredible range of animals and activities.”

The Cork International Hotel has also launched a Halloween-themed afternoon tea which will be available from Friday, October 27, to Sunday, November 5. Afternoon tea will be served from 1pm to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 3pm to 5pm on Sunday.

The menu will be made up of sweet and savoury dishes including spooky fingers and vampire teeth cupcakes served on stands decorated with pumpkins and cobwebs to create a spooktacular atmosphere.

Mr Murphy added; “There will be plenty to keep the family entertained at the hotel over the mid-term break too. Our Family Concierge team has put together a scary amount of activities for kids of all ages.”

The Halloween activities at the Cork International Hotel include:

Twice daily pumpkin hunts; dress up for the Monster Bash early bird dinner from 5pm-7pm; Halloween arts and crafts in the lobby.
