North Melbourne are back-to-back AFLW champions after they defeated the Brisbane Lions in the Grand final 56-16

They were helped by Meath's Vikki Wall, Cork's Erika O'Shea, and Fermanagh's Bláithín Bogue, while Offaly's Amy Gavin Mangan was included on the squad's emergency list.

In a game with plenty of Irish involvement, it was disappointment for Dublin's Jennifer Dunne, Tipperary's Orla O'Dwyer and Kildare's Neasa Dooley for Brisbane.

In the third straight final between the sides, it was the Lions who started the quicker of the two teams.
