Daniel Goulding (39) of Whitechapel Grove, Clonsilla, Co Dublin, pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of two detective gardaí at his family home on May 25th, 2021.

Noel Colvin (45) of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to assault causing harm and production of an article at Harbour Court, Dublin city centre on August 14, 2020. He has a number of previous convictions including one for assault causing harm.

Stg Michael O'Hara said defendant Stephen Silver told him: “I didn’t know what he was going to do to me so I just grabbed the gun from him and I shot him.”
