Boeing will cut more jobs as it continues to lose money and revenue during a pandemic that has smothered demand for new airline planes.

US federal regulators have outlined a list of design changes they will require in the Boeing 737 Max to fix safety issues that were discovered after two deadly crashes that led to the worldwide grounding of the plane.

Federal safety regulators are moving closer to letting the grounded Boeing 737 Max fly again following changes that Boeing has made to the plane after two deadly crashes.

Boeing reported that customers cancelled orders for 60 of its grounded 737 Max jets in June, and the aircraft maker removed another 123 planes from its backlog because of doubts that the deals will be completed.

Low-cost carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle said it has cancelled its 97 outstanding orders for planes from US manufacturer Boeing. Norwegian said in a statement it had terminated the purchase agreements of five 787 Dreamliners and 92 737 Max aircraft.
