Searchers combing the area where a Ukrainian military aircraft crashed have found two more bodies, bringing the death toll to 26.

A Ukrainian military plane carrying aviation school students has crashed and burst into flames while landing, leaving 22 people dead. Two other people on board were seriously injured and four people were missing, emergency services said.

A Philippine air force helicopter on its way to airlift troops wounded in a recent suicide bombing has crashed killing all four crew members on board, officials have said.

A woman has been taken to hospital following a serious two car collision on the N72. The incident occurred on the Fermoy to Tallow road by the Clondulane junction around 12pm.

A three-car collision on the N40 has resulted in delays on the road. The accident occurred at around 9am, just before the Carrigaline exit, westbound, and has resulted in tailbacks in the area as emergency services work to clear the area.
