Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin St. Clementi – The Piano Sonatas – Recital 3 1pm, adm €11.50 / €9.50

With undoubtedly one of the most dramatic of Clementi’s opening sonata movements, op.34 no.2 is full of passion, energy and unpredictability. Op.24 is one of Clementi’s most performed and well-loved piano sonatas: the excitement of its opening movement, the beauty of its Andante and the happiness of its finale all combine to earn this title.

A Spoonful of Cream is a live tribute to the music of the legendary 1960s psychedelic rock supergroup, Cream. It comprises of Alan Comerford (O Emperor, Mick Flannery), Dan Walsh (Fixity, Senior Infants) and Brendan Fennessy (O Emperor, The Bonk). Selections from the band's enduring catalogue are explored in a full technicolor psychedelic journey.

First and foremost Andy Dunne is an Entertainer. He has developed a style of Guitar playing that (although detrimental to any kind of guitar string!) is powerful, full and rhythmic yet when required it can also be tender and touching. The same can be said for his vocals.

What's that sound? What's that sound are a four piece Funk and Blues acoustic outfit consisting of well-established singer-songwriters (Joey Ryan, Pierre Morrisey, Evan Prendergast & Clare Sands).

Drawing together some of the most accomplished and stage-smart musicians in Ireland, The Incredibles are sure to deliver a great night’s entertainment whatever the occasion or venue.

Rob Harley from Cork, spent his formative years in San Franisco's Bay area, while there he gained his interest in music with his focus especially in Folk and Blues. The Rob Harley Band are performing in and around Ireland playing the blues and classic rock covers as well as their own originals.

The Frets are a guitar/vocals and mandolin duo based in Cork city, Ireland who play a wide variety of music, ranging from Jazz swing, Country rock, bluegrass and instrumental traditional music from Ireland, America Scandinavia,Greece and Italy.

Playing upstairs in the Frisky Whiskey bar, The Ill Winds are a three piece traditional/contemporary band from the South East of Ireland featuring well-established musicians from both at home and abroad.

The Cotton Ball, Mayfield Lorcan Geaney 10pm, adm free

Lorcan has plenty of talent and always puts on an entertaining show. You will be treated to the great variety of music, from traditional Irish music to American folk and some of the best chart hits.

Jack's repertoire is absolutely incredible. It even includes a solo version of Bohemian Rhapsody! A fantastic guitar player with a voice to match. Come see this man in action and you will not be disappointed.

Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. Topso 9pm, adm free

Topso return to the scene after two years spent in their home built studio perched on a hill in Co. Kildare. From there, the four piece spent a defining period creating a new and unique sound where they explored their creative appetite for grooves, melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city. Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.

Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin St. Asylum Archive – Vukašin Nedeljković 10 am, adm free

The Asylum Archive is an art, activist and academic platform that examines the notion of Direct Provision Centres; the localities and sites where asylum seekers are being held while in the process of seeking refugee status. It is the continuation of Vukašin Nedeljković’s ongoing work highlighting the injustices, confinement and incarceration of asylum seekers in Ireland.
