Playing live in The Frisky Whiskey Bar, upstairs in The Oliver Plunkett, Ceol Coolroe is the Traditional Irish Music Session and sure to be full of "ceol agus craic".

Charlie's, Union Quay Hot Blooded Animals 10.30pm, adm free

Hot Blooded Animals started life as the backing band for legendary American country star Dwayne Dwight. A real good time classic rock group with years of experience of playing both nationally and internationally and are armed with a jukebox sized catalogue of tunes that are all performed with plenty of gusto. They play the kind of rock ‘n’ roll cover songs we can all relate to.

Downstairs at the Oliver Plunkett 'The Light Runners' will be playing live. This Reggae Band with members from Ireland and Africa, combine fluid vocal harmonies with tight instrumentals.

The Guilty Judges are a three-piece pop covers band that are quickly making a name for themselves as one of the most coveted wedding bands in the country. With high-energy live shows the band perform a wide range of genres that is sure to keep you on the dancefloor from start to finish.

Tony Milner is another long established act here at The Welcome. Classic songs in acoustic style is the order of the day. Hits from Gilbert O’ Sullivan, Albert Hammond and Steely Dan are all performed with enthusiasm and precision.

Reardens, Washington St. Papa Zitas 10.30pm, adm free before 11pm

The Papa Zitas are busy making a name for themselves as the most exciting new big band to have emerged on the music scene in Ireland in a long while. With an array of hits that encapsulate the very essence of the Motown era, their set ensures the dancefloor is heaving from the beginning to the end of the night! The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city. Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.

These renowned sessions, which enhance Cork's reputation as THE traditional music capital, are an absolute must-see, for locals and visitors alike!
