Lee Sessions take place in the Sin É tonight.


Charlie's, Union Quay Lee Trad Music Sessions 3pm, adm free

One of the longest traditional music Sessions is in Charlie’s bar every Sunday at 3 pm. The Session is hosted by Cork’s own Sean O’Driscoll, both a sweet and rhythmic bango player and a fine hand on the old style button accordion, along with his wife Mary O’Driscoll on the fiddle. To keep the Sessions fresh and real, each Sunday features a different guest musician, an ever-changing array from some of Cork’s and Ireland’s finest traditional players.

The Welcome Inn, Parnell Place The Spencers 8pm, adm free

The Spencers consists of Brian Hennesy and Eoghan Murphy and together they perform cracking covers. Anything from The Beatles to Otis Reading and many many more.

The Gables, Douglas St. Traditional Irish Music Session 9.30pm, adm free

The Gables is home to the “Trad Session” for over 30 years. The session has been visited by travelling musicians from far and wide with many diverse cultures. 

Reardens, Washington St. Celtic Knights 10.30pm, adm free

Celtic Knights are a four piece band based in Cork. The band plays a vast variety of music from the 60's to modern day rock and funk. It is guaranteed to be a good night when Celtic Knights are around.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. Big Swinging Mikies 6pm, adm free

Born in the Folk House and a neighbouring apartment in Kinsale in the hot summer of 2013, the Big Swingin' Mikies are a band that was set up as a "non-Saturday night" band.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. What's That Sound? 9pm, adm free

What's that sound are a four piece Funk and Blues acoustic outfit consisting of 4 well-established singer-songwriters (Joey Ryan, Pierre Morrisey, Evan Prendergast & Clare Sands) who carry themselves with a tight yet relaxed atmosphere.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. Traditional Irish Dinner and Show 7pm, adm free

Upstairs at The Frisky Whiskey Bar - Come and experience the amazing The Oliver Plunkett Hooley and take part in our Traditional Irish Dinner and Show experience Sunday to Thursday from 7pm.

Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. Salsa By The Lee 3pm, adm €5

Ceili By The Lee is running this special event in aid of MSF Cyclone Idai appeal. Come and learn some Salsa moves in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. Sunday Blues Jam with Gerry Quigley & The Durty Blues Band 9pm, adm free

Blues Jam session every Sunday from 9-11pm. All players are welcome to the stage and featuring Gerry Quigley & The Dirty Blues Band as the house band. They have a Fender Tele and Marshall 100w amp for visiting guitarists so you will get a great sound! Or bring your own instrument of any kind, all instruments welcome.

Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. The Patricia Moore Band 11.50pm, adm free

Patricia Moore Band  (UK) and Gerry Quigley and the Durty Blues Band. The final leg of their Irish Tour, Patricia Moore (UK) and her band will be on fire like never before. An immensely talented blues/folk/rock artist in her own right.

Sin É, Coburg St. The Lee Sessions 5.30pm, 7pm and 8.30pm adm free

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city.
