Five-piece covers band that play all varieties of music specialising in good time tunes! King K covers music of many styles from the 50’s right up to the present day. With an absolutely huge repertoire we can cater to all ages and tastes!

Cyprus Avenue, Caroline St. Patty Griffin 7.30pm, adm €25

Grammy Award winner Patty Griffin has announced the release of her long-awaited new album. The acclaimed singer-songwriter’s 10th studio recording and first-ever eponymous LP, on her own PGM Recordings label via Thirty Tigers. The album was recorded predominantly at Griffin’s home in Austin, TX, with Griffin and longtime collaborator Craig Ross co-producing, while the band is made up of a number of friends and frequent accompanists, including Ross, guitarist David Pulkingham, drummer/percussionist Conrad Choucroun, cellist Lindsey Verrill, pianist Stephen Barber, and Robert Plant, who contributes backing vocals. It is the most deeply personal recordings of her remarkable two-decade career. 

Coughlan's, Douglas St. James OR 'An Attempt at Momentum' Single Launch 9pm, adm €10

James has been included on the Hotpress 'Ones to Watch' listings and the 'Live at the Marquee' line-up showcased a songwriter and performer who is always striving to go one better. A tireless live performance married with thoughtful and relatable songwriting brought performing opportunities with the likes of The Coronas, Damien Dempsey, The Frank & Walters, Hermitage Green, David Keenan, and more. Now, James returns to Coughlans with a full band to release his new single.

Sin É, Coburg St. The Lee Sessions 6.30pm, 8pm and 9.30pm, adm free

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city. Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.
