She’s back to black …The astounding and most talked about Amy Winehouse Lioness show returns to Ireland at Cork’s Triskel Arts Centre. To honour such a music icon as Amy Winehouse takes a very special talent. Emma Wright fills this role very successfully.

The renowned Cork based blues band Hot Guitars regularly perform in a wide variety of venues and festivals in Cork city and the Munster region. This five-piece band’s blues, rock style is popular with young and older audiences as they play a variety of covers ranging from The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Dylan, Muddy Waters, Clapton, Van Morrison, Spencer Davis Group, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, Steely Dan, Alex Harvey, Jerry Lee Lewis and more. 

Live At The Marquee Aslan and Damien Dempsey 8pm, adm €36 + booking fee

Aslan will be playing Live at the Marquee. Songs such as Rainman, Wheres the Sun, Games, Sweet Time, Goodbye Charlie Moonhead and Crazy World. The very special guest on the night is Damien Dempsey who will be bringing his full band with him.

Cork Rocks for Rory is Ireland's dedicated Rory Gallagher Tribute remembering one of greatest blues rock guitarists. This event is a great event featuring the best of Rory Gallagher Tribute Bands from Europe and happens annually always on the second weekend of June.

Baseck is a Los Angeles based experimental electronic musician. His roots run deep in L.A.'s underground rave scene.

Eileen Healy is a well-known singer/guitarist and fiddle player based in Cork. She hosts the very special Cosy Club nights and plays in several bands and trad sessions. A versatile musician whose abilities range from bluegrass and traditional to American roots,blues and country.

Tim Mullane has been wowing audiences for many years now, an energetic and very accomplished musician he has been known to cover everything from Neil Young to the Bee Gees and everything in between.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. The Lee Sessions 5pm, adm free

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city. 

An Spailpín Fánach, South Main St The Lee Sessions 9.30pm, adm free

Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars. 

Sin É, Coburg St The Lee Sessions 6.30pm, 8pm and 9.30pm adm free

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city.


Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. DJ Fadd Jnr 11.50pm, adm free

Mixed and scratched by Fadd Jnr, an alternative musical take on Saturday night club music. Expect classic electro cuts, indie fused pop and a mixture of Rock’n’Roll staples, along with plenty of new upbeat tunes for your dancing pleasure.

Michael has been quickly rising on the comedy scene, playing regularly in all the major clubs in Ireland, and London. Michael brought his first solo show “The Best Boy in Ireland” to the Edinburgh fringe festival 2018, in what was a sold out run.
