The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city.
Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.
These renowned sessions, which enhance Cork's reputation as THE traditional music capital, are an absolute must-see, for locals and visitors alike!
Comedy Cavern: Brian Gallagher, Richy Sheehy & Mark O'Keeffe
The Comedy Cavern is an alternative Comedy Club, located in Coughlans pub on Douglas Street. Some gigs are open mics, some feature the best of Cork Comedy, they also run "Fringe Interests" nights featuring the best shows from last year's Edinburgh Fringe, preview nights where acts try out this year's Edinburgh show, and they occasionally have top class professional comics like Joe Rooney and Al Lubel gracing their stage. Gigs take place every Tuesday. Most gigs are free in, and you can pay what you think the show is worth at the end.
Here at the Franciscan Well Brewpub they run daily brewery tours Monday to Sunday. There are three time slots available: 2pm (Beer Tour), 4pm (Beer & Whiskey Caskmates Tour) & 6pm (Beer Tour). The tour runs for approximately 70mins.

Sociedad Espanola de Cork has changed to a less formal name which describes what they do much better. They are a Chat/Social Club, who talk about anything and everything, but also teach each other Spanish and English in small groups of four to six people.
