‘Smooth Sailing: A Voyage Through Yacht Rock’ is a loving tribute to all things yachty, docking Thursday may 30 in Cork’s recently revamped Cyprus Avenue. An homage to the music of Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins and the undisputed Lord High Admiral of yacht rock, Michael McDonald, all proceeds from the concert go to Noah’s Wish To Walk. Franciscan Well Brew Pub, North Mall Colin McLean Latin Trio 7pm, adm free

Colin McLean has been performing throughout the country for the past 15 years. He has played classical guitar in every major concert hall in Ireland including National Concert Hall, Cork Opera House and the Concert Hall Limerick. He has toured with many different groups encompassing various genres. He has played concertos with orchestras and given solo, duo, trio and quartet recitals both at home and abroad.
