The Welcome Inn, Parnell Place Leif 9.30pm, adm free

Leif comprise of Eoin O’ Brien and Conor O’ Sullivan, two of Cork's finest musicians. They will take you on an eclectic journey through some of Irelands finest tunes and ballads. A candlelit, stove side trad session that really has to be seen to be believed. Locals and staff have even been known to get involved and give a blast.

Get a taste of real authentic trad music at one of Dwyers Sessions. The best of Irish musicians accompanied from time to time by talented Irish dancers.

Franciscan Well Brew Pub, North Mall The Lee Sessions 9pm, adm free

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city. Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. The Lee Sessions 9.30pm, adm free

These renowned sessions, which enhance Cork's reputation as THE traditional music capital, are an absolute must-see, for locals and visitors alike! This session takes place in one of Cork's musical and cultural hotspots, The Oliver Plunkett, where you'll find live music seven nights per week in the beautiful surrounds of their traditional bars.


Coughlan's, Douglas St. Comedy Cavern : Damo Clark & guests 8.30pm, adm free

Damon Clark and guests perform at The Comedy Cavern, an alternative Comedy Club, located in Coughlans pub on Douglas Street. Some gigs are open mics, some feature the best of Cork Comedy, we also run "Fringe Interests" nights featuring the best shows from last years Edinburgh Fringe, preview nights where acts try out this year's Edinburgh show, and we occasionally have top class professional comics like Joe Rooney and Al Lubel gracing our stage. Gigs take place every Tuesday. Most gigs are free in, and you can pay what you think the show is worth at the end.


Franciscan Well Brew Pub, North Mall Franciscan Well Brewery Tour 2pm, adm free

Daily brewery tours Monday to Sunday. There are three time slots available: 2pm (Beer Tour), 4pm (Beer & Whiskey Caskmates Tour) & 6pm (Beer Tour). For smaller groups just give them acall on the day 021 4393434.


Old Oak, Oliver Plunkett St. Cork Español Social Club 7.30pm, adm free

Sociedad Espanola de Cork are a chat/social club. They talk about anything and everything, but also teach each other Spanish and English in small groups of four to six.
