Who is Less Than Jake? That’s a legitimate question for someone who has been out of touch with the independent or punk music scene for the last quarter of a century. To some, the name may bring you back to a movie soundtrack or a video game; others are transported to a sweaty day on the Vans Warped Tour. One thing that can not be argued is that if you have experienced Less Than Jake live, it is something that you will never forget.
This weekly trad session has a mix of jigs and reels and great Irish songs in both Irish and English. With a bit of gypsy jazz and hillbilly thrown in the mix it's always a lively session.
Leif comprise of Eoin O’Brien and Conor O’ Sullivan, two of Cork's finest musicians. They will take you on an eclectic journey through some of Ireland's finest tunes and ballads. A candlelit, stove side trad session that really has to be seen to be believed. Locals and staff have even been known to get involved and give a blast!
Comedy Cavern: Pure Cork with Roger O'Sullivan & guests Doors 8:30pm - show 9pm. The Comedy Cavern is an alternative Comedy Club, located in Coughlan's pub on Douglas Street. Some gigs are open mics, some feature the best of Cork Comedy, they also run "Fringe Interests" nights featuring the best shows from last years Edinburgh Fringe, preview nights where acts try out this year's Edinburgh show, and occasionally have top class professional comics like Joe Rooney and Al Lubel gracing our stage. Gigs take place every Tuesday. Most gigs are free in, and you can pay what you think the show is worth at the end.

The film spans 18 years and traces important cultural moments through her eyes. €25 full price / €20 for annual membership holders.
Dir: Joe Berlinger Starring: Zac Efron, Lily Collins and John Malkovich. Ted Bundy murdered at least 30 women during the 1970s. His torrid story is told through the eyes of longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer who refused to believe the truth about him for years.
