Introducing The Ladies who Lunch a band made from the members of Kaara, The Vestas, The Blind Poets, Super Skunks and NOMIS. They play a mix of funk, disco , reggae, rock and originals. 

The Roundy, Castle St. The Bonk / Denis As A Landlord (Live) 8.30pm, adm €10

The Bonk is a project formed out of new recordings begun in 2014 by Waterford musician Philip Christie (O Emperor). These initial recordings were mostly undertaken and captured as live performances at Big Skin studios in Cork City.

Thomas McCarthy is from a long line of Traveller traditional singers and musicians and was awarded Traditional Singer of the Year at the 2019 Gradam Ceoil Awards. He will be supported by Mary Frances Keenan and Helen Connors.

Both Cailín & The Hanley Brothers will play the ReTech Stage at Konnect Festival 2019 alongside a variety of other big-name national and international artists.

Waterford native Cailín Power has been making waves in recent years, as a resident for Subject and District 8 she has found herself sharing line-ups with some of her heros, (such as Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Robert Hood, Paula Temple, Neil Landstrum, Ben Klock & Levon Vincent to name a few) playing major festivals and headlining gigs around the country.

Meanwhile, The Hanley Brothers of Cork are no stranger to the Irish circuit playing big-name venues and festivals around the country, sharing lineups and stages with the likes Aeron, Boston 168, Jamie Behan, JKS, & Tommy Holohan.
