As part of a celebration of the urban music and culture scene in Ireland outsiders, Ent & Word Up Collective are proud to present the first annual Outsiders Music Festival featuring Outsider Yp, Tebi Rex, JyellowL, Jay Ronic, Stevie G, Jordan Adentunji, Olympìo, Kestine, HLYWD, Pharaii and ApocalypsE.

The Spencers consists of Brian Hennesy and Eoghan Murphy and together they perform cracking covers. Anything from The Beatles to Otis Reading and many many more. 

Dwyers Of Cork, 28 Washington St. She Said 10.30pm, adm free

Seven piece Soul/Funk covers band from Cork City. Satisfying all your musical senses, with cosmic bliss from some of the biggest divas in the business.

Charlie's, Union Quay Dr. Dec & The Side Effects 10.30pm, adm free

The band delivers an electrifying blend of blues and classic rock drawing from an ever-evolving song list. Their set list delivers classics from Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Cream whilst also paying homage to blues greats Otis Rush, Freddie King, Peter Green, Tampa Red and many more. This five-piece band have built up a considerable reputation over the years.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. Bedrock 9.30pm, adm free

Bedrock is an exciting party band hailing from Mitchelstown, North Cork, full of energy, highly entertaining and topped to the brim with quality musicianship and vocalists. This excellent group is fronted by the enigmatic Jenny O'Keeffe.  Joined on stage with an array of talented musicians and vocalists.

The Oliver Plunkett, Oliver Plunkett St. Andy Dunne 11.30pm, adm free

Never has one man mastered such an array of classics, as well as some stunning originals to boot! His version of A Whole Lotta Rosie has to be heard: previously impossible on one acoustic guitar! From Pearl Jam to Freddie White, Andy plays 'em all! You might even get a bit of banter into the bargain.

Upstairs in The Frisky Whiskey bar, The Frets are a guitar/vocals and mandolin duo based in Cork city, who play a wide variety of music, ranging from Jazz swing, Country rock, bluegrass and instrumental traditional music from Ireland, America Scandinavia, Greece and Italy.

Upstairs at The Oliver Plunkett at The Frisky Irish Whiskey Bar. A Limerick-based band who have been writing and performing together for the past eight years. Along with doing our own unique cover versions they also write their own original material. Rock/Folk/Trad fusion would be a good way to describe them.

Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St. Harvest (a tribute to Neil Young) 8pm, adm free

Harvest (a tribute to Neil Young) are an eight piece band who have been thrilling audiences of Neil Young fans all over Ireland for almost 10 years. Formed in 2009, the band have played sell-out shows all over the country, recently performing arguably Young’s greatest album ”Harvest” in full at Vicar Street in Dublin. The band have also played at the Electric Picnic arts festival and appeared on national TV and radio. Harvest will make their Cork début at Crane Lane Theatre in Cork on Saturday March 2.

The Lee Sessions is the umbrella term for all authentic, traditional Irish music sessions in Cork city.

Supported by Cork City Council, this trad session series runs all year round, and features world-class musicians and singers, in Cork's most iconic bars.
