Some of the best-known ladies footballers in Cork have made the Rearden's All-Star 15

1. Martina O’Brien (West Cork): The Cork number one was the prime candidate for this position, given her great displays during the championship. However, 19-year-old Mairead O’Sullivan, of St Val’s, could be knocking on the door in a few years’ time.

7. Roisin O’Sullivan (Mourneabbey): A former skipper, O’Sullivan is the central figure in the Mourneabbey defence, and all campaign she was a platform on which the reigning Munster champions built their attack.

Her darting runs carved open a number of defences, and with Brid O’Sullivan and Doireann O’Sullivan operating off of her, she always delivered.

13. Orla Finn (West Cork): Cork’s top scorer was there or thereabouts again for Kinsale. If it wasn’t for her free-taking, it was for her goal-poaching, and the Kinsale star helped West Cork light up this year’s senior championship in style.

Others to have come close to making the list included Mourneabbey’s Cathy Ann Stack, Maire O’Callaghan and Brid O’Sullivan, and St Val’s Ciara McCarthy and Jenny Brew Dinan.
