Murphy and Donnellan returning for Ramblers

COBH RAMBLERS midfielders Craig Donnellan and Darren Murphy have signed back with the First Division club for the 2018 season.

Irish U19 international Donnellan initially joined the club on loan from Cork City in July 2016, helping Ramblers reach the play-offs. The move was made permanent for the 2017 campaign and the former College Corinthians has made 37 appearances.

A key part of City’s ‘double-double’ winning U19 sides of 2012 to 2014, Darren Murphy played with Ramblers in 2015 before a stint in Waterford and a return to St Colman’s Park. He has made a total of 41 appearances at the club.

Ramblers’ defender Charlie Fleming and goalkeeper Adam Mylod have become the latest players to re-sign for the club ahead of the 2017 season.

Fleming is one of the club’s longest-serving players having joined the U19 set-up from local side Springfield Ramblers in 2014. Mylod’s older brother Ian who committed to Cobh last week.
