Ferreira confirmed to join the Munster backroom

MUNSTER have appointed a new defence coach. 

South African JP Ferreira has been confirmed as a replacement for Jacques Nienaber. The 34-year-old moves from a similar position at Super Rugby side Golden Lions Rugby, where he has held the role since 2013.

Ferreira is expected to link up with new head coach Johann van Graan, forwards coach Jerry Flannery and backline and attack coach Felix Jones from next week.

With the Golden Lions he operated in various coaching and analyst positions and was also involved in the Springboks coaching team for their 2016 November tour to Europe.
