CBC pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat great rivals PBC 17-15 in the most dramatic of Munster Senior Schools Cup semi-finals at Musgrave Park.

Pres had led 15-0 early in the second half thanks to tries from Sean French and Mark McLoughlin, before two tries, one converted, from Eoghan Barrett, cut the gap to 15-12 heading into injury-time.

Christians out-half Eoin Monahan hit the post with a penalty that would have seen the epic clash end in a draw until Adam O’Connor pounced for the winning try after eight additional minutes.
