THERE was high drama at Nowlan Park as Fr O'Neill's forward Jason Hankard grabbed a last-gasp goal for Midleton CBS in the All-Ireland senior hurling quarter-final.

The Harty Cup champions were facing elimination at the hands of Coláiste Eoin from Stillorgan until Hankard made it 1-14 to 1-12 in the five minutes of injury time.

With Christians proving far too strong for Gort last weekend, two Cork schools will contest the All-Ireland semi-final on Monday, March 18.

CBC will meet Kilkenny powerhouse St Kieran's, while Midleton now face Presentation College from Athenry.

Midleton CBS last won the Harty Cup in 2006 but didn't add the All-Ireland title on that occasion. The East Cork side know they'll have to improve to get past the next stage, as Presentation College lost last year's All-Ireland final.

Christians face a really tough task against Kieran's, who have captured six of the last nine Dr Croke Cups.
