Cork players feature in this season's Irish basketball All-Stars

FR Mathews deadly duo Gráinne Dwyer and Shannon Brady were picked in the Basketball Ireland Women's Super League All-Star starting five.

The pair has been on song for their club throughout the season and will be vital this Sunday when Mathews face treble-chasing Liffey Celtics in the League Cup final.

Dazzling Tradehouse Central Ballincollig American Andre Nation was picked in the first team for the Men's Division 1.

His comrade Ciarán O'Sullivan was selected in the second five and they will hope to end the campaign on the high this weekend in the league cup play-offs. 

Linda Rubene and Tricia Byrne (Singleton SuperValu Brunell) made the second and third teams respectively for the Women's Super League, while Fr Mathews guard Michael McGinn was recognised in the Division 1 second team. 

Claire Rockall, formerly of Glanmire, was selected for her excellence with Maree in the Women's Division 1 first team.
