O'Sullivan and Beckom will represent Cork in the Ireland U20 squad

TWO Leesiders have been included in the Ireland U20 squad for the FIBA European Championship next month.
Neptune sharpshooter Darragh O'Sullivan and former Blue Demon James Beckom have made the final roster of 12 under the stewardship of Mike Lynch.
They tip off in the competition on July 12 in Portugal in a group with Russia, Iceland and Hungary at the B tier of European basketball.
Another Cork baller Cian Heaphy was in contention to travel with the Irish team but is unavailable as he finalises a move to play in college Stateside.
Beckom, whose father David blazed a trail for American players in the Irish league, will compete next season for John Brown University as he pursues his hoop dreams.

Darragh O'Sullivan's older brother Conor was in the USA last season.
Their father Tom is a Neptune legend and Darragh has some outstanding performances in recent years with the famous northside outfit, while also playing in secondary school for Coláiste Choilm where he is currently sitting his Leaving Cert.
It seems likely that he'll head across the Atlantic as well.
